You have the MS Blaster virus. Naughty you, you failed to
turn your firewall ON. You have failed to run a current
anti-virus background scanner. You have failed to do your
Windows Updates weekly.

As soon as you turn your, press ctrl-alt-del which will
bring up the task manager. Look at the processes tab and
find the Blaster program and turn it off. Click OK to close
the task manager.
Then go to your network places and click on network
connections. On the connection, right click and select
properties, then the advanced tab. Put a check mark in
protect my computer. That turns the firewall ON.
Then download and run a program to clean your computer of
the virus/Trojan-worm.
You can get a nice one shot cleaner from
http://vil.nai.com/vil/averttools.asp
It is called Stinger and will remove many common and
troublesome viruses.
Then go to Windows Update and download and install ALL the
critical and security patches.
Update your anti-virus program and set it to run all the
time.
Don't open attachments (although isn't how you got Blaster,
Blaster infected you just because you were on the Internet
without a firewall.)

.
Stu, You may have the blaster worm virus....this happened
to me. WHat you have to do is go to Microsoft.com and
download the security repair file and run it. Good luck.
