I am surfing the web when I get a box that says "This
system is shuting down. Please save all work in progress
and log off. Any unsavced changes will be lost. This
shutdown wa initiated by NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM" Then is
gives me a minute before it is shut off. It also
says "Windows must now restart because the Remote
Procedure Call (RPC) service terminated unexpextedly"
Whats with this?!!! Please Help!!
.
Hi, i'm getting the same thing happening to me, only
started a day or so ago. Managed to narrow it down to, a
program running in the background called "svchost.exe".
On my computer there are about 4 running, closing one or
two of these usually fixes this. But when I restart the
computer, the system will close down again. Other thing I
noticed is that when I close the "svchost.exe" program,
my computer seems to be downloading something all the
time. Seems like another program is using the internet
connection. If anyone can help further, it would be
appreciated. Thanks,
Graham
