This is cause for celebration. I used to use Version 1.x when it was in
eternal beta ... it was free, but always expired soon thereafter and it
was often very difficult to find the next update.

Whatever version SSM 2.0.8 does without restrictions. This info obtain
from their FAQ Forum. Only difference is $24.95 according to the SSM
Staff. In addition someone suggested that a separate forum be setup
just for the freeware version and SSM replied that this is being done.
The 2.0 versions have application filtering ,md5 checksum
authentication. It monitors registry keys and has the ability to add newo
nes.It monitors initiation files ,startup menu ,and ie explorer
settings. Its basically a hips programme for 98/me and xp ,that uses very
little resources at all.The free version offered is basically an upgraded
version of what i bought last year ,and is in my opinion one of the best
programes out there. It is very stable also.SSM will continue to support
minor changes to it.The 2.1 versions are for xp /2000 only. They have
added extra functions to them.
