I have previously use System Restore successfully on many
occasions.
My latest attempts have failed even though I have tried
various retore points some of which have been previosuly
successful. The system seems to save settings/close down
and reopen normally but on reopening I receive an error
message to the effect that RESTORE was not possible for
the date in question.
I have run virus checks and removed Adware.
Has anyone an explanation and possible resolution.
Since the occurrence I have created new restore points
and they seem to work OK.
