System Restore

I was going to do a system restore but, I got this box
saying strui.exe-entry point not found

the procedure entry point remote assistance prepare
system restore could not be located in the dynamic link
library Winsta.dll
I have never got this before and not i can't restore any
help please ?

What you had is gone, It's a culmitive file, history.

You can turn it off from Control Panel > System > and then
re-boot and it will purge it's file. Then re-boot, turn it
back on.
And try this if the above does not work.

1. Put the in the Windows XP CD
2. Click Start , Run
3. Type the following then OK

rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf
or
You can also open Windows Explorer, go to
C:\Windows\Inf folder and right-click sr.inf (Then Install)
