system restore..

well i recently restored my system by going through the system restore
process. I've got a problem.. when i log into my account all the programs
dont open such as the recycle bin and windows messenger. if i log into
another account all the programs would start up correctly.. could someone
please tell me wat i can do!!!

Open System Restore and choose "Undo my last restoration".

Now let us know the reason for performing the restore?

the reson for performing the restore was because i had a virus.

Hi,

Then there's a chance the account was corrupted by the virus.

I would suggest creating a new account and move your data over to it.

After you are system is back running correctly, you will want to delete all
existing restore points to eliminate the chance of being re-infected during a
future restore. Disabling System Restore will accomplish this.
