System Restore

I've lost the SYSTEM RESTORE function between one session and another.
Is there a way of getting it back? I was into "Set Program Access and
Defaults" in Windows XP, that I remember. I can't seem to reverse it.
Appreciate your help.

I am not sure what you mean by "Session", please explain in more
detail.

Are you logged onto an administrator account?

What changes have you made to remove System Restore?

Hello Bert- Thanks for your reply
Session - between one period of time on the system, then a
normal shut down and then a restart.
I was able to correct the situation by using my "Reinstall" disc and
performing a REPAIR. It took about 45 min but at the end of the procedure
and a reboot, I found the System Restore returned.
