System Restore won't work

Hi,

I hope someone can help me.

When I try to run system restore, it will ask me pick a date...when I choose
a date and proceed, the system restore goes on through the normal process of
shutting down and then turning back on again.

However, when the computer is back on again, I have a message saying the the
restore was unsuccessful, that no changes have been made...So I go on to pick
another date...and another...and another...but it just doesn't seem to
restore at those points...

How do I fix this problem...thank you for the help.

Hi Chris,

Here are some troubleshooting tips. When you get to the Event Viewer
information, post any 'sr' or 'srservice' events here.
