System Restore Problem

System Restore says it cannot restore to the selected point. The calendar
shows that there is a restore point and it is correctly identified as
"before installing XYZ" but after rebooting it says the system could not be
restored to that point. Any idea what the problem is?
 
I had the same problem.See message at 8.56hrs Nov.That

Hi ,
I too have been having this problem I couldn't find the message you referred
to on my server any chance you could repost it for me ,
I have tried everything that I could find on this and it still refuses to do
a system restore for me .
