System restore points...

Peter

System restore does not seem to be saving more than one
restore point, and the last time I checked this morning,
it had none. System Restore is turned on, with disk
space usage set to max (6868MB). There is 14.7 GB of
space remaining on my hard drive. Manually saving
restore points seems to work ok (I just created two with
no complaints), but then the restore points disappear
after a week or so. Any suggestions?

Who Know's.............lol It's a calmative file, could
be corrupt.

You can turn it off from Control Panel > System > and
then
re-boot and it will purge it's file. Then re-boot, turn
it
back on.
And try this if the above does not work.

1. Put the in the Windows XP CD
2. Click Start , Run
3. Type the following then OK

rundll32.exe advpack.dll,LaunchINFSection
C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf

You can also open Windows Explorer, go to
C:\Windows\Inf folder and right-click sr.inf (Then
Install)
