System restore not working at all

System restore not working at all.

I bought Win XP from Tiger Direct a year ago and it work only a few times. Tiger Direct said they to sell a computer part ( a fan) in order to sell the XP because it is an OEM.

So that means I get no support what so ever from Microsoft.

(I should have went to a regular store)
