System restore does not recognize a drive

Bryan M.

I now have two hard drives, drive 1 has two partitions
(one is bootable and one is not) and drive 2 has one non-
bootable partition. The bootable is labeled C, and the
others are labeled G and H. Why does system restore only
list G and H in the "available drives" section?

See my post on Dec. 31. Same problem. Haven't received
an answer to the problem yet.

Interesting; I just read your Dec. 31 post and yeah it's
the exact same problem. If no response floats around,
I'm going to reformat the non-bootable drives and see
what happens.

I think I found a fix, at least for me. I disconnected
the old HD(just disconnected the power cable to it),
booted up, created a restore point, shut down,
reconnected old hard drive and started back up. The new
HD (C) is now in the list of available drives to monitor.
HTH.
