System Restore dialog slows to open with Vista?

Whe I try to open my System Restore dialog to create a new Restore Point I
notice that it is very slow to open. Is that a new thing with Vista?
I remember it opened rather quickly with my former Windows XP.
 
Mine is a few seconds slower than XP in opening but it is not a significant
difference.
