System restarts

I have a pc running W2K Pro that intermittently reboots
itself. The event logs do not show anything except the
fact that the system restarted. I created a new
ntbtlog.txt and it shows that many drivers are not being
loaded including the NIC driver. However the machine has
no problem seeing our network or the internet. Could this
be a reason for the system to restart? TIA

If it's very intermittent, then it's probably due
to a hardware problem. I've seen it happen
with bad memory. Did you add any new
memory, or is the system new? Are you
overclocking?
