System Resore has quit working ... again!

Every so often I will go check System Restore and all the previous Restore
points are gone and there is only one for the current day. Then it will do
regular daily System
restore points for a while and then when I check, they're all gone again
except for the one for the current day.

Now System Restore doesn't work at all. Someone told me about a program
"Automatic Sysytem Restore" which I got and it works beautifully, but I'd
like to figure out why System Restore doesn't work on it's own.

Any idea why this is and how I can make it quit doing this? Thanks a lot in
advance ....

The System Restore on my computer will not work either. Can you point me
(us) to a web site where you found a Automatic System Restore program?
