System resets automatically

There's been an alarming trend lately here. Simply, it's
this. When I cold start the system or sometimes click an
email link, the system will auto reset/restart. Then when I
use SFC I get a report that critical 'library files' are
missing from dllcache.

The system is just out from 'clean install' and has no
infection reported (by multiple high end scanners, both
local and remote). A note in performance log states that
info could not be retrieved on two tag numbers [ events 33 &
34 - NSCservice].

I strongly suspect that either Norton or other software such
as MSRT could be removing the files, thinking they are
infected, when they are not. Could someone help me with this
issue?

Open Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings
button in the Startup and Recovery (bottom) section.

In the Startup and Recovery window click on the checkbox for
"automatically restart" to clear it. Click on Apply and OK as needed
to exit.

That should put an end to the automatic reboots, or at least most of
them. However they may be replaced by a "Blue Screen Of Death" STOP
error message. If that does happen the contents of the error message,
including the STOP code, all 4 parameters, and any file or module
names mentioned will be a direct clue as to the underlying cause of
the problem.

Post that information back here if you need help with it.

Good luck
