A System Recovery with the manufacturers Recovery Disc's? If so you data is
gone. If you mean System Restore in Windows XP you data should still be
right where it was before.
You will find MyDocuments in C:\documents and settings\Your user name.
You could rt click on it and send a shortcut to
Desktop. For Briefcase follow this procedure. Compliments of Rahnet. It
will showup on your desktop.
My Briefcase synchs information between your laptop and PC. If you've grown
accustomed to using My Briefcase in previous versions of Windows and
wondered why it's not in XP, you're probably not alone. My Briefcase is
included in XP, but you have to know where to find it. To summon My
Briefcase to your desktop, follow these directions:
a.. Single-click your Start button.
b.. Single-click the Run icon.
c.. Type "syncapp" (without quotes) and click "OK."
d.. Follow the directions in the wizard when you open My Briefcase for the
first time.
