System Recovery Problem

I just had a problem whit my PC and kept getting errors saying that there was important files missing and I could not get my PC to load windows completely. I used F10 recovery option when windows is booting and it recovered windows. I am now able to get windows to load, but the 4 profiles that I had aer gone. I know that they are still on the computer because I see their folders in the Documents and Settings folder. I need to save some of the files that are in my old "My Documents" folder from before the recovery. Since I am not able to login with my old profile it will not let me in my folder. I says gives me an error saying that I am not allowed in that folder. I believe that it is because I had a password for my login. i am able to get into the other old profile's documents, but they never were password protected. Does anyone know how to get into that folder, or how to login to those old profiles?
