XP Pro SP 2

I've been having problems with my computer rebooting, but there's no rhyme
nor reason to why - not consistent as to when it happens

Just happened while I was reading one of the newsgroups I subscribe to.

I copied down the Error Report Contents:

I'm using Spy Sweeper & every time the system reboots Spy Sweeper tries to
send an error report (which the last few times has bounced!)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi

If you don't see any error messages, right click on My Computer, select
Properties and then the Advanced tab. Click on Settings under Startup and
Recovery and disable 'Automatically restart'. Next time your PC reboots,
you should see a Blue Screen. Could you please post the Stop Code that
accompanies that BSOD back here? With that your problem could be isolated.

XP Pro SP 2

I've been having problems with my computer rebooting, but there's no rhyme
nor reason to why - not consistent as to when it happens

Just happened while I was reading one of the newsgroups I subscribe to.

I copied down the Error Report Contents:

COCUME~1\owner\LOCALS~1Temp\WERe076.dir00\mini022307-01.dmp
COCUME~1\owner\LOCALS~1temp|WERe076.dir00\sysdata.xml

I'm using Spy Sweeper & every time the system reboots Spy Sweeper tries to
send an error report (which the last few times has bounced!)

Following is the "bug report" that Spy Sweeper tried to send this time.

At the top of the blue screen it said: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

After uninstalling Hitman Pro, I've had no further problems. That was the
last program(s) I had installed and I realized that was probably when my
problems started.

That was a mistake to post that I had had no further problems. About an
hour later I got the same BSOD with the same stop error message. Guess I'll
be calling my computer tech.
