Sure sounds like the Blaster Virus to me. Here's how to
tell if you have one of the three known types:

Adds the value:
"windows auto update"="msblast.exe" to the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run

*******For Blaster.B virus*******
Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete once.
Click Task Manager.
Click the Processes tab.
Double-click the Image Name column header to
alphabetically sort the processes.
Scroll through the list and look for Penis32.exe.
If you find the file, click it, and then click End
Process.
Exit the Task Manager.

******For Blaster.C virus********
Adds the value:
"Microsoft Inet Xp.."="teekids.exe" to the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run

I have downloaded the MS patch and ran Symantec remove
tools for MBlast virus but it could not find it. I have
looked at all the keys in the registry and could not find
any of these listed for Mblast or Welchia on my system.
none of these are running on my system:
mblast.exe
penis32.exe
and there is no teekids.exe in the registry...

other suggestions?
