I noticed this problem a few weeks ago when I realized that dark areas
of some images were looking greenish. So I performed a test.

When my computer displays a test image with all possible values
(0-255) of pure red, blue, and green, the blue gradient is black for
values less than 128. The rest of the test image is fine. The same
image file looks normal on other computers.

The monitor and cable were tested on another system and are working
properly. Overclocking and ATI Overdrive are not enabled. The graphics
card runs about 60F.

Has anyone seen something like this? Any ideas on further
troubleshooting?

What driver? Try updating, if old, or using an older version if running
latest. May well be a hardware fault, is it still under warranty? If more
than a year old, check with manufacturer, some give 2 or 3 year warranty.

Thanks! I updated my driver, and the problem disappeared! I am such a
newbie. I didn't even consider that it could be a driver issue.
