System keeps rebooting

T

Test

I did a windows xp update and a restarted the cpu successfully and then
later I rebooted again and the system took a long time at the windows logo
screen. Then the error "autochk program not found... skipping". Then the cpu
reboots. The screen with safe mode and normal log on pops up, but no matter
which one I choose, I end up in the same place. I tried xp cd repair and it
stalls at 3%. Any suggestions?

Try installing "Service Pack 2". Concerning that you cant startup
windows normally, I think a the first thing u have to do is to try
and load a earlier restore point, if you have one. If this doesnt
work, format and reinstall.

Good luck though!
