Okay another silly question. I would like to access my
system information folder, but it comes back saying I
don't have access.

I am set up as a computer administrator. On the other
computer, I do not have the same problem so I am thinking
I configured something wrong on the newer computer.

Can anyone help?

Bill

By default, even the Administrator does not have access to the System Volume Information folder. Nor do they need it. This is where the information for your System Restore points is stored. If you have an issue where you have a virus file in a Restore Point, go to Control Panel, System, System Restore. Turn it off, reboot and then turn it back on.
