Hi,
I didn't understand so much, but if you want to change a label font
simply in the properties widow search for font and click on the button
to change the font,size and color

Yes but the 'System' font does not appear in that list. If I change
it manually my form goes all wacky.

The problem with the font is that it is a bitmap font and .NET Windows Forms
only support fonts in the TrueType and OpenType formats.

Thanks -- I've switched to Lucida Console which looks similar but is a
TTF font.
