system folder

The person that set up my new computer put the wrong name
on the Documents & Settings sub-folder folder, but I
can't rename it - when I try I get an error message
telling me it is a System folder and can't be renamed.
Is there any way around this?

It has that folder because it is connected to the user
account that you are using. You could create a new user
account with administrator rights and then log on with
that account name. Then delete the other profile as they
are called.
