,Can anyone help me I started a repair install of xp pro when the system went
down and it now tells me i have RAW system files and of course the pc will
not boot,
can you tell me how to repair the files as I have tried to do this in
recovery console but it can not access the files anymore.
I would do clean install but i have all my work emails on there which have
not been backed up maybe someone can tell me how to do that.

After you've resolved your problem, ask yourself why you've
decided not to back up your important emails to an independent
medium at least once a week.

What do you mean by the "system file problem"? Which system
file? Or do you mean the "file system"? If so, the link I quoted
has a number of hints that sound useful.

What are you trying to do?
Where/how do you see these "raw" file system information?
What have you done so far? What was error messages or original problem?
