system.exe causes a fault that shuts down the pc in 60 seconds

I'm running XP Home with the sp1, all updates are installed, up to date Norton Systemworks Pro 2004. My question is, why do i kkep getting this thing coming up and restarting my pc, I've run the blaster worm removal tool , no virus found, and i'm tearing my hair out here....Any help? when and if it happens again, i'll record the status code down.....
