System error

I have a compaq A1500 printer and i cannot print because i
keep getting a system error
And it says to clear system error and then press clear but
i can not find the system error
Can u please help thank u

If you go into the Control Panel, then click on Admin Tools and look in the
Event Log, what does it say about the event?
