system error while printint

I get a system error when i try to print
I use an HP psc 1210 all in one (usb)
using xp on an AMD64 3000+
I uninstalled the printer and re-installed - same thing
I got a HP AIO Scrubber utility to totally kill HP installation
after re-installation, same problem
I plugged the printer into my old P3 733 and it works no prob
Is there any way to fix corrupted files on my xp puter so I can print again?

Ron, I don't know if this will help you or not. But when I tried to install my HP printer, I had the same problem.
I found out that the software has to be installed before you plug the printer into your computer.
If I were you, I would uninstall it again, and start over with installing the software first.
I you have already tried it this way, then, I'm sorry Sir, as I wouldn't know where to look for your problem.
But it did work for me.

Did you connect the printer to your PC before installing the software?
If you did, you will need to start all over again. Do not connect it to
your PC, during software installation you will be informed on when to
connect it and when to turn the power on.
