System error on a Dell

Good morning all

I have a user with a Dell workstation with XP home on it.
About every 3rd boot the system tells him that it had a
serious error. When I connected to fwlink/events.asp on
the Microsoft site, it said that 'no user action is
required' (didn't help much). The error is as follows:

Type: Error
User: N/A
Source: System Error
Catagory: (102)
Event ID: 1003

Error Code 0000000a, parameter1 c0000000, parameter2
00000002, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804dc19f

The only references to this on Google discuss a recent
replacement of a motherboard or hard drive. No hardware
has been replaced in this workstation.

Any ideas?

I have read this KB article, and have run this fix. I
have also ran the fixes listed on Kellys-Corner. None of
these have helped.

FYI
