System error 53 has occurred. (KB822345)

I have a windows xp pro computer that gets this error. (KB822345)
I've contacted the knowledge base and microsoft on this matter, and found I
need a hotfix to fix my problem.

My windows xp is OEM and is past 30 days old, and I don't wanna pay whatever
ammount microsoft wants to ix there own holes in their operating system.

Does anyone have this hotfix?, If so could you point me to a ftp or website
that has it.

Go ahead and call. Microsoft WILL NOT charge you to give you the hotfix.
The reason they are not posted publicly is that they have not been tested as
thoroughly as MS patches normally are and are designed to address a single,
usually rare problem.

I've had to get several of them for myself and/or friends/family/cow-orkers
over the last few years and have never once been asked for a credit card or
payment info. Just give them the KB # and tell them you need the hotfix.
