System.Environment.OSVersion.ToString

Hi all

I had a quick hunt, but didn't get anything - I have 3 different devices:

Dell Axim Pocket PC 2003 SE
Casio IT500
Psion Workabout Pro

Running a query on System.Environment.OSVersion.ToString returns basicly
the same value for all (ie. Windows CE) appart from differing version
numbers.

Is there an up to date version list covering both PPC and CE builds?

You can also P/Invoke SystemParamtersInfo to get the platform name - e.g.
PocketPC or other, in combination with the Windows CE version this gives you
a few more hints as to the device. You can refer to the
OpenNETCF.EnvironmentEx.PlatformName property and code here:-
