I have two bootable win2k server partitions. How do I change the system
partition i.e. from C: to D: ? In other words, so that boot prompt should
get it's info (boot.ini) from D: drive rather than C:

Thanks in advance

The Active partition is where the system will boot from. Thrid party
programs may be able to change this, I am not sure. In the Boot.ini you
should be able to redirect the boot process (Windows Load) to the D: drive

ntldr will always read boot.ini from the active partition, i.e. C:,
not D:.

What you want to do can probably be achieved by a third-party
boot loader, e.g. XOSL. It's free.
