System crash

I just spent most of the day restoring my system, it would lock at
bootup with an hourglass, (what is that little spinning icon called
anyway), one strange thing is my Performance score went up to a 3.4
from a 3.3. The only change is I deleted Norton, which I suspect but
cannot prove was the cause of the crash. System is less than a month
old.

Hi,

Choose a different AV/Security program, leave Norton's off, see if the
system stops crashing.

Already done, Norton is deleted, and I am using Windows Defender in
combo with AVG.

I am also using that combo. Seems to work well.
