I had too many programs on start-up so i followed all instructions to stop
some of them via system configuration, now when my computer starts i have
lost all my system information. Computer cannot access any information,
hardware or connections, keeps telling me 'the service cannot be started
either because disabled or because it has no enable devices associated with
it'. I have tried everything and i don't want to have to restore my pc as
i'll lose a lot of very important files.....please help!!!

Hi Lisa,
Go to the Run command and type in this:
services.msc and Click OK
in the window Navigate to the service(s) you want to start and then Reboot
and try to access this service.
Hope this helps
please write back with your findings.

Hi Lisa, Sorry for the delay to reply to you, different time zone!
About htis Error read this link:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=888854
If you have Anti-Virus with Internet Security (Firewall) it will Block the
Windows Firewall, it is normal leave to it (AV) to deal with it.

If joy, try msconfig in the RUN Command and there click on start up and
tick the Programs you need to Start.

If still no joy, Run this in the EUN Command: sfc /scannow and Press Ok.
Get your CD OS ready if it needed it for Repair DLLs.
Hope this helps
