system.ced errors?

Quite a few of our systems are receiving corrupt
system.ced errors on bootup. There are fixes listed in
the knowledge base but we typically end up re-imaging the
pc's to get everything working correctly. Is anyone else
having this problem and are you aware of any preventative
procedures to stop the problem. Thanks!
 
Hello Jeff,

Usually this means the SYSTEM registry hive is either corrupt or grown
beyond the limit. Here is a link to a Microsoft utility that can help you
recover from this error...
