system always forces me to "press the Del key to continue"

Recently, when I boot(or reboot) the system, it now comes
up with the message that tells me to hit the del key to
continue. It forces me to hit the delete key to continue
booting the system. Does anyone know why and how I can
fix this.

This is probably a message at the BIOS level, not the OS level. It must say
more than just "press del to continue." It should be giving you a message
and it's telling you to press DEL to continue to confirm that you read the
message.
