Everytime the computer starts up and loads the desktop, a
window pops up titled "system 32". Why is it doing this
and how do I stop it from appearin each time the computer
loads the desktop profile?

Do msconfig and look the entry in startuptab
or follow this scree
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=17008
or you can follow this als
drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\Startu
drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Program
drive:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

i'm not sure what i'm looking for here.

when i run msconfig... some 'command' lines read... "c:\program files\... is this what i'm looking to fix
also, in the 'startup item' column some entries are blank what about that
