System 32 folder

My System 32 folder opens up when I boot up my computer.
This folder never opened up before on my desktop. I
can't think of any changes I made except downloading SP2.

Anyone know why this folder opens up? And how can I get
it to stop opening.

Thank you.

This can be caused by a blank entry, such as can be left behind by
an incomplete program removal, in the
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run and/or
HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run keys. It can also
be caused by an entry in these same keys that starts with a " / ."

SP2 deletes autoexec.nt in C:\windows\system32 for
whatever unknown reason.

Colin wrote a reply to Michelle that works like
lightning!!

Hi there Michelle, try logging on to the site below, and
downloading XP_Fix.EXE It took me literaly hours to
sort this problem out, and was cured in seconds after I
had found out what to do!!!

SP2 does not. There is a trojan that does, however. This problem with
something deleting or corrupting autoexec.nt has been going on for some
time well before SP2 came out.
