SYSPREP 2.0 and Cisco Aironet Client issue

After running SYSPREP 2.0 on my WinXP image and
subsequently restarting the sysprepped
system, I get the following prompt when Mini-Setup
launches: AppInst: You must reboot your
computer for changes to take effect. Do you wish to
reboot now?

This has something to do with the Cisco Aironet Client,
possibly generating a new wireless
profile or something which causes it to re-install during
mini-setup. The client is fully
installed on the image. THE CLIENT APP AND WIRELESS CARD
ARE DISABLED BEFORE SYSPREP IS RUN, ERROR STILL OCCURS. I
am wondering if there is a way around this, as I don't want
Aironet installing components and prompting for a reboot
before mini-setup completes. Any
ideas?

David,

We have seen numerous issues with Sysprep and Cisco VPN software and
drivers. To verify your suspicions, have you completely removed /
uninstalled all traces of the Cisco client and drivers before running
Sysprep? Is there anything special about your sysprep.inf file? Are you
running sysprep in GUI mode, or through a command-line with switches?

I would be curious to see in the %SYSTEMROOT%\setupapi.log file to try and
determine what's going on. I did a quick search on Cisco's site, and they
don't mention anything with Sysprep.
