sysprep 1.1

Can sysprep be told to find all devices when imaging a
machine. We have 3 different hardware configurations here.
each configuration has 4 images associated with it for the
different application areas. can I get sysprep to image
all machines from 1 setup machine

I've had very good luck using one image for all hardware as long as
they are all single processor ACPI. (There are ways to handle those
diffences too). The main thing is that you need to populate the
[SysprepMassStorage] section of your sysprep.inf with the PNP id's of
all mass storage controllers that you will run into. Also you need to
add all drivers that are not part of the default Windows installation
in folders on the hard drive and use the OEMPnPDriversPath value to
point to the driver folders location.
