I have posted a problem I have with my main system, the system clock is
running an hour behind and if I try and manually adjust the time, it will
reset to it's previous time and remain an hour behind. I have tried to sync
it with Atomic Clock or the time servers and it will not sync with any of
the time servers, and I can not figure why. Please, some one give me some
ideas where I'm not looking or what I'm missing...

Boy, I must be really missing something, I've went into my BIOS and reset my
system clock to the correct time and saved it, but after it reboots into
Windows XP, it will reset back to an hour behind...

Two questions come to mind:

1) are you SURE you're set to the proper time zone?

2) are you SURE that you're using the proper daylight savings time
option?

I am in Austin Texas so I am using (GMT-06:00) Central Time (US & Canada)
Time Zone.

Don't want to sound stupid, but what are the Daylight Savings Time Options?
(Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes...) is checked... am
I missing something here?

Right now, Austin is not GMT-6; it is GMT-5 (because of DST).

Dunno. Just tell the stupid machine you're in Atlanta.

Can't speak to Central Time but my Pacific Time shows GMT-8, I have
adjust for daylight time checked, and the clock is correct.

However, if changing to Eastern Time fixes your problem, it won't hurt
to give it a try. You may have to revisit the solution come November's
change from Daylight to Standard Time.

I tried that but the clock still continues to reset to Central Time and
reset to an hour behind, why? What is causing it to continue to reset to
previous time settings?
