Sys Tray query

My manager has asked if I could add an icon to the sys tray so that users
can click on it when needed and go to BT directory enquires web page.

Is this possible to do please?
 
It's easy to do with the Quick Launch toolbar. Open the Help and Support
Center and read the article entitled: To add a program to the Quick Launch
bar.
 
Thanks Ted, we used to have Novell Zen works and adding something like this
to the systray was fairly simple. I think she just want to follow suit.
People don't really use the QL toolbar in this office.
 
You'll have to find a third party program to do that - XP doesn't do it
natively. The Quick Launch toolbar is so much easier. Place it next to the
tray and remove the handles (by locking the toolbar). Tell everyone you
found a way to 'extend' the tray.
