Synch Outlook Calendar for Web Publishing

a bunch of us tech-types want to assist our church in publishing/sharing a
church calendar over the internet somehow-a thought was to have a church PC
with the actual master church
calendar in outlook, and "synch" that with a internet-based software package,
and then have church members not only see the master calendar, but also
save selected events to their own outlook files-
i have heard about "plaxo" and "trumba"-but does anybody have any ideas
about how to do this where we have control ?
