Synch Confusion With Vista Home Premium

Hi,

My objective is synch my laptop and PC over my ethernet wired lan. The help
menu says that the Home Premium version of Vista cannot synch with a
network folder.

Is a folder on a PC on a lan considered a "network" folder?

I can see the other computer in the Network window but cannot transfer files
unless I shut off the Norton firewall.

When I go to the sync center, the only device shown as available on the
laptop is a flash drive, the desktop PC says no device is available.

Is PC to PC synch available on Vista Home Premium?

PC to PC syncing is not in Windows Vista, it was a planned feature but was
axed at the last moment.

Is Network Discovery and File Sharing Enabled between both systems? Have you
setup a partnership with both systems?
