Sync Blackberry 8300 with Outlook 2000

I am so frustrated! I am quite computer savvy and I thought it would be a
breeze to sync my Blackberry with my Outlook in order to use the calendar and
address book and I cannot for the life of me figure it out. In the
Blackberry Desktop Manager I've tried to go through the steps to sync the
Blackberry to Outlook, but MS Outlook is not even an option in the
intellisync for the calendar or the address book. Any ideas how I get these
two to work?

Forgive me if this sounds flippant, but what does Blackberry have to say
about that? Blackberry Desktop Manager does the syncing, Outlook has no
part in it other than being the data source.

Me too...My client has same issue. No help from Microsoft or Blackberry sites.

I finally figured it out by accident. You need to go into Outlook tools under
Options. There should be a button there for Mobile services and SMS Links. I
signed up for that, restarted Outlook and then my tasks and calendar worked.
Still having problems with the Address Book. But no tech support knew what to
do to help me.
