symbols Please HELPPPPP

I have this really bad problem with word 2007. Im working on word 2007 and
all the keys are fine. But after a while when i hit the any of the (/,;,'][\)
SYMBOL KEYS on my keyboard i get these weird symbols that look like this
(`ééÉÉÉ`;`>>>>><<<¨¨¨¸)(that is when i press any of the symbol keys like
bracket arrow, backslash, square bracekt). Please can someone help. It seems
that the keyboard shorcut for the symbol gets changed somehow. Please Help
 
Yes Stefan. This happens ONLY in microsoft word. Other than that my keyboard
works perfectly.

That is strange. Note, however, that the language settings in Word can be
unpredictable. See http://homepage.hispeed.ch/cindymeister/LangFmt.htm. Note
especially that if you have multiple layouts enabled in Windows, they might
change on you (for example, if you inadvertently press the keyboard shortcut
that changes the layout).

Thank you Stefan for you Help. You were right on the keyboard shortcut. When
i press ctrl + shift then the language changes to weird symbols. But i
disabled it through the language bar settings and now its fine. Thanks for
the help once again.
