Switching To Slide Sorter View Freezes My PowerPoint

When I try to switch from Slide View to Slide Sorter View, my PowerPoint is
not responding. I have to reopen the presentation, save it under different
name, and then I can switch to Slide Sorter View. Reinstalling PowerPoint
didn't help. Please help me.

There is additional information we'll need and there are probably several things
to try. First, what version of PowerPoint is this? What is the latest service
pack installed? What version of Windows? What else is running? Have you
rebooted your system recently? Do you have anti-virus software running? If you
disable it, does the problem still occur? Do you have any add-ins installed?
You can check that by going to Tools > Add-ins to see if anything is listed.

Second, I would update the graphics driver. What graphics card is installed on
the system? To find a new driver, see:
