switching domains

I have a XP PRO laptop that is set up for a domain at
another site , when the laptop comes to my site I can't
get it on my domain because it creates another profile and
the user loses all e-mail settings ect, is there a way of
using domain rescources ( the pop3 e-mail works ok)without
logging onto my domain ?
