Switching Between Users Issues

I posted this earlier in the Media XP group, Chris gave some helpful advice,
but both accounts are Admin accounts.....can anyone offer more help - it's
important - for business .....the only thing I can add is that when I setup
the printer fornetworking, XP did install the home network option....so am
thinking it may be related to that........thanks!

Sounds like one account is a member of the Administrative group, and the
other is a Limited User account. However, since this isn't a Media Center
Edition functionality as supported in this newsgroup, you may try posting to
the microsoft.public.windowsxp.general newsgroup. And also check out the
Help and Support information (off your Start Menu regarding account types.

If you have a multimedia keyboard (with a print button?), that keyboard may not
support multi-users. If you press a non-standard key in the second user, it
could confuse the first user and you may wind up doing things you never thought
you were doing in the first user while you were working on the second users'
desktop. The best fix for that is to log out of one user before logging into a
second user so the keyboard keeps things straight.

As soon as you touch a non-standard key (other than the normal 101 keys), you
will notice these problems across multiple logged-in users. Open a wordpad in
both users and type in one user and see if it types the same thing in the other
user too. I haven't tried this one yet, but if that happens, then not only are
the non-standard keys at fault.
